How to make my fussy toddler eat

Well for any fussy toddler (which most of them turn out to be) it's half work done if he or she eats a meal properly.

When he was eight nine months, it was easier to distract him and make him eat the healthy stuff in the form of soups etc. I used to place some interesting things like water toys or noise making toys and make him eat while he played with it. But then the moster realised he had legs to run around and created problems for me. So now I have to tell him new stories or scare him from monkey etc to make him sit and eat at a place. No tv or bribes should be given because then they make it a habit which later will become a ne problem for us to deal with. Let them play with food, experiment and enjoy. Try not to feed and let them have it themselves. It's a mess to clean and tolerance required but worth it for later years as specially we Indians have a tendency to spoon feed our grown ups too.

Veggies can be cut into interesting shapes, or hidden in gravy. Some boring healthy stuff can be given with their favourite snack. A fixed meal time is required to maintain their healthy habits.

Enough for today, I just wanted to come back to writing after 4-5 years of gap. That start was not happening, now will try to be regular with better inputs.

Bye bye people for today. See you same time tomorrow.
